Alpaca & Llama Mix 20kg Argo

Argo Alpaca & Llama Mix 20kg – Premium Camelid Nutrition

Give your herd the specialized, high-quality nourishment they deserve with Argo Alpaca & Llama Mix (20kg), available locally at Feed & Fleece—your go-to destination for premium smallholder feeds and bedding in Cleckheaton.

Alpacas and llamas have unique dietary requirements that standard livestock feeds simply cannot meet. Argo's highly palatable, molassed sweet mix is specifically formulated to keep camelids in optimal health, supporting everything from strong fiber growth to digestive vitality.

Why Choose Argo Alpaca & Llama Mix?

Camelids are highly efficient converters of fiber, but they require a careful balance of trace elements, vitamins, and digestible energy to thrive—especially during winter, gestation, or lactation.

• Tailored Nutritional Balance: Formulated with a balanced protein level (12%) to support healthy bodily functions without promoting excess weight gain or stress on their kidneys.

• Rich in Micronised Cereals: Includes flaked peas, maize, and barley, lightly coated in molasses for excellent palatability—perfect for enticing fussy eaters.

• Mineral & Vitamin Fortified: Specifically supplemented with essential vitamins (including Vitamin A, D3, and E) and critical trace elements like selenium and zinc to promote a thick, lustrous, and strong fleece.

• Low Copper Levels: Safely formulated to avoid copper toxicity, which camelids are particularly susceptible to compared to other livestock.

• Highly Digestible Fibre: Includes high-quality grass pellets and wheatfeed to support natural microbial fermentation in the camelid C1 and C2 stomach compartments.

Feeding Tip: Camelids require constant access to high-quality grazing or long-stem hay to maintain proper gut function. Use Argo Alpaca & Llama Mix as a supplementary feed alongside their main forage.
