Coarse Calf Ration 20kg Argo

Argo Coarse Calf Ration 20kg – Premium Molasses Starter Mix

Give your young livestock the very best start in life with Argo Coarse Calf Ration (20kg), available locally at Feed & Fleece—your dedicated partner for smallholder feed and high-quality bedding in Cleckheaton.

Formulated as a high-specification, incredibly appetizing creep feed, this premium molassed coarse ration is packed with highly digestible energy sources, proteins, and minerals. It is designed specifically to encourage rumen development, steady weight gain, and robust bone growth in dairy, beef, and replacement breeding cattle.

Why Choose Argo Coarse Calf Ration?

Transitioning young calves from milk to solid feed can be challenging. Argo’s sweet, molassed mix is physically structured to stimulate early feed intake while supporting digestive health.

• Exceptional Palatability: Lightly coated with sweet molasses to tempt even the pickiest young calves to feed early, promoting a smoother weaning phase.

• High-Quality Protein (17% Crude Protein): Balanced protein level derived from quality flaked peas and beans to promote healthy muscle development and frame growth.

• Encourages Rumen Development: The physical structure of the coarse mix—including flaked maize, rolled barley, and alfalfa chop—helps develop the young calf's stomach chambers for better lifelong digestion.

• Fortified for Vitality: Fully balanced with essential vitamins (including Vitamin A, D3, and E) and critical minerals like calcium and phosphorus to support immune strength and skeleton growth.

• Excellent Digestible Energy: Loaded with micronised cereals that provide the fast-release energy growing calves need without causing digestive upsets.

Feeding Tip: Always feed this complementary ration alongside a clean water source and high-quality, long-fiber forage (such as clean straw or hay) to encourage optimal cud-chewing and rumen function.
