Dengie Alfa-A Oil (20kg Bulk Bale)

Fuel your horse's performance, stamina, and condition safely with Dengie Alfa-A Oil (20kg Bale), available locally at Feed & Fleece—your leading equestrian feed and premium bedding specialist in Cleckheaton.

Alfa-A Oil is the ultimate pure alfalfa chaff blend formulated for horses and ponies that require a high-energy diet without the heating behavior associated with cereal grains. Coated with a generous dressing of high-quality linseed oil, this premium fiber feed delivers excellent slow-release energy, exceptional conditioning, and a show-ring shine.

Why Choose Dengie Alfa-A Oil?

Performance horses, hard-mouthed types, or poor doers often need extra calories to maintain condition and stamina. Traditional grain-heavy feeds can lead to digestive upset or excitable behaviour. Alfa-A Oil provides a safe, fibre-based alternative.

• High Energy from Clean Fibre & Oil: Provides a comparable energy level to a traditional conditioning or competition mix but delivers it entirely via highly digestible fibre and oil for maximum stamina without the "fizz."

• Rich in Linseed Oil: Coated with pure linseed oil to provide an abundance of essential Omega-3 fatty acids. This supports optimal skin health and gives the coat an exceptional, deep-gloss finish.

• Excellent Gastric & Digestive Support: Alfalfa is naturally rich in calcium and quality protein, making it an excellent natural buffer against stomach acid. The long-stem fibre encourages thorough chewing, stimulating saliva production to support gastric health.

• Ultra-Low in Sugar and Starch: Contains no added sugar and is naturally exceptionally low in starch and sugar. This makes it a highly suitable energy feed for horses prone to tying-up (RER) or those with gastric ulcers.

• Meticulously Dust-Extracted: Rigorously screened to remove fine dust particles, protecting the sensitive respiratory health of stabled performance horses and handlers.
