Dengie Alfa-A Original (20kg Bulk Bale)

Dengie Alfa-A Original (20kg Bulk Bale)

Provide your horse with a time-tested, high-quality fibre foundation with Dengie Alfa-A Original (20kg Bale), available locally at Feed & Fleece—your leading equestrian feed and premium bedding specialist in Cleckheaton.

As the flagship product in the Dengie range, Alfa-A Original is a highly nutritious, pure alfalfa chaff lightly coated with a touch of molasses to increase palatability. Rich in natural vitamins, minerals, and highly digestible fibre, it provides safe, non-heating energy for horses and ponies in work or those needing to maintain a healthy condition.

Why Choose Dengie Alfa-A Original?

Standard straw chaffs often provide bulk without much nutritional value, while grain mixes can cause excitability. Alfa-A Original delivers the perfect middle ground: quality nutrition fueled entirely by natural forage.

• Safe, Non-Heating Energy: Alfalfa provides a slow-release energy profile ($10\text{MJ/kg}$ of Digestible Energy) comparable to a cool mix or cube, but delivers it via fiber rather than starch, keeping your horse calm and focused.

• Excellent Gastric Support: Alfalfa is naturally abundant in calcium and quality protein, making it a brilliant natural buffer against stomach acid. The long-stem structure encourages thorough chewing and saliva production to support optimal gut health.

• Promotes Condition and Muscle Tone: Packed with high-quality, natural essential amino acids that support lean muscle development, topline maintenance, and overall cellular repair.

• Highly Palatable Recipe: Lightly dressed with a touch of molasses to create a sweet, appetising aroma that encourages consistent feeding and ensures bucket clearances.

• Meticulously Dust-Extracted: Subjected to an intensive dust-clearing manufacturing process to safeguard the sensitive respiratory health of stabled performance horses and handlers.
