Snowflake Soft Chip 100% Soft Wood Fibre

Snowflake Soft Chip 100% Soft Wood Fibre Bedding (Large Bulk Bale)

Provide your animals with a clean, supportive, and hygienic environment with Snowflake Soft Chip 100% Soft Wood Fibre Bedding, available locally at Feed & Fleece—your leading specialist for equestrian feed, smallholding supplies, and premium bedding in Cleckheaton.

Snowflake Soft Chip is manufactured from 100% natural, kiln-dried softwoods sourced from sustainable UK forests. Unlike standard wood shavings, Soft Chip consists of precision-engineered wood fiber chips that are designed to minimize dust, maximize absorbency, and stay down in the stable, cage, or coop.

Why Choose Snowflake Soft Chip?

Managing a clean, low-dust environment is vital for animal health. Snowflake Soft Chip offers unique structural advantages over traditional shavings or straw.

• Advanced Dust-Extracted Formula: Rigorously screened during manufacturing to remove fine dust particles. This makes it an exceptional choice for animals with sensitive respiratory systems, including horses with COPD or chickens prone to respiratory issues.

• Superior Absorbency: The natural wood fibers quickly absorb wetness and trap moisture at the base of the bed, keeping the surface layer dry, comfortable, and highly effective at locking away ammonia odors.

• Stays Down and Doesn't Cling: The specific weight and structure of the wood chips ensure the bed stays put and isn't easily disturbed by pawing or movement. It also resists clinging to tails, manes, or feathers, making grooming much easier.

• 100% Natural and Clean: Free from chemical additives, artificial scents, or wood treatments. It provides a pure, clean, and safe surface for horses, poultry, and smaller domestic pets.

• Easy to Muck Out: Droppings sit neatly on top of the dense chip structure, allowing for quick, easy spot-cleaning and minimizing the amount of clean bedding wasted during the daily routine.
