Sundown Egg-E-Bed Poultry Bedding (19kg Bulk Bale)

Ensure your flock enjoys the cleanest, driest, and most comfortable environment with Sundown Egg-E-Bed Poultry Bedding (19kg), available locally at Feed & Fleece—your premier supplier for poultry feed, smallholding supplies, and premium animal bedding in Cleckheaton.

Egg-E-Bed is a highly innovative, specialized poultry bedding made from clean, recycled, double-walled corrugated cardboard. Precision-chopped and meticulously dust-treated, it is designed to offer far superior absorbency and comfort compared to traditional straw or wood shavings, making it a favorite for backyard flock keepers and commercial poultry producers alike.

Why Choose Sundown Egg-E-Bed Bedding?

Managing moisture and ammonia levels in a chicken coop is vital for bird health. Egg-E-Bed targets these challenges head-on while remaining incredibly environmentally friendly.

• Ultra-Absorbent Design: The corrugated cardboard pieces feature a hollow structure that traps moisture and droppings inside, keeping the surface layer remarkably dry and significantly reducing strong ammonia odors.

• Warm and Highly Insulating: Traps pockets of air within the chopped structure, acting as an exceptional thermal barrier. This keeps your hens, ducks, or chicks warm and cozy on cold winter nights.

• Virtually Dust-Free: Undergoes a rigorous dust-extraction process during manufacturing, protecting the incredibly sensitive respiratory systems of your poultry and keeping your coop cleaner.

• Stays in Place: The heavier weight and specific cut of the chopped cardboard mean it doesn't blow around or get kicked out of nesting boxes as easily as light wood shavings or loose straw.

• Rapidly Compostable: Cardboard breaks down incredibly quickly. Used bedding composts beautifully in your garden heap, turning into nutrient-rich soil cleaner faster than wood-based alternatives.
